9.1.3 Installing IBM Security Directory Suite
The following link shows the outline installation steps provided by the IBM Support Knowledge Center to configure the IBM Security Directory Service after booting:

Note: For the virtual IBM Security Directory image, the setup wizard runs the first time when you boot the VMWare virtual host of an unconfigured system as shown in Figure 9.31 through to Figure 9.49.

Our 100 GByte virtual disk is formatted, and the Install status shown in Figure 9.32:

The Install status shows the image has been successfully installed and we are prompted to unmount the CD-ROM disk and reboot the virtual server as shown in Figure 9.33:

The CD-ROM device with the .iso installation image file is selected to be disconnected using the VMWare VM | Removable Devices | CD/DVD (SATA) | Disconnect menu item as illustrated in Figure 9.34:

Provide the following user credentials when the system restarts after the virtual appliance installation: On the virtual appliance setup wizard screen, enter the login as shown in Figure 9.35:

Enter the following credentials to log on as shown in Figure 9.35.
Unconfigured appliance login: admin
Password: admin
This gives the next screen, shown in Figure 9.36:
