Conclusion
In this chapter, we described the IBM Directory Services LDAP Server for Users and Groups as a base for the related IBM FileNet and BAW security requirements.
In the next chapter, we cover the upgrade installation of IBM BAW 21.0.3 (Business Automation Workflow). The installation will upgrade to version 21.0.3 from 18.0.0.x, 19.0.0.x, 20.0.0.x, or version 21.0.1.
Points to remember
• Remember to log out and log back in again after making Linux User and Group security changes to allow them to be effective.
• You have to use the Installation Manager installed for WebSphere 8.5.5.20 (used earlier) for installation of the IBM Security Directory Server 6.4 components.
• You need the Korn shell to be installed on the Linux System, before installing IBM Security Directory Server 6.4.
• IBM Installation Manager requires that the X11 window server is running.
