9.1.3.2 Adding users and groups to the container, cn=localhost

The IBM Security Directory Web Application Console is displayed as shown in Figure 9.78:

The Add command highlighted below in Figure 9.79 is used:

Click on the Add command button, to see the Add an entry wizard page as shown in Figure 9.80.

Start typing in the box as this is a dynamic search area to show the inetOrgPerson object class, select this and click Next to display the select auxiliary object classes (which we can skip) as shown in Figure 9.81:

Click the Next > button for the Required attributes page shown in Figure 9.82:

Click the Next> button. Select and enter the userPassword attribute and click Finish, as shown in Figure 9.83:

The entry is displayed to show we have successfully added it, as shown in Figure 9.84:

Click Yes and add the users and groups as shown in Table 9.2:

In the next screen, Figure 9.85, we show the entry for an example user under the cn=localhost LDAP container:

The other users sue, ana, mark, and joe are added at this point as for Alan all in the inetOrgPerson object class.
